The Customer: Mothercare, a retail chain offering a complete range of products for mothers-to-be and young mothers and babies. Mothercare was founded in 1961 in the UK and currently sells through its own retail stores in the UK, online stores and catalogues, as well as its franchise in Europe, Africa and the Middle and Far East. The retail chain under the Mothercare brand has over 1,200 stores in 61 countries. In 2007, the first Mothercare store was unveiled in Minsk. The chain is represented in Belarus by BOND STREET Group, which also covers the Next, Hunkemoller and MINA brands.
The Challenge. For the Mothercare chain it was necessary to introduce the new LS Trade Fusion system. Software was developed by NTO LuxSoft, a partner of ActiveCloud’s, with which we had previously implemented a few projects. This is why LuxSoft again turned to the cloud from ActiveCloud for deploying LS Trade Fusion.
The Solution. LuxSoft has introduced the new proprietary LS Trade Fusion system in the Belarusian Mothercare chain of stores. Before that, modifications were made based on the company’s accounting and management policy. Once again, ActiveCloud was chosen to host the LS Trade system. This centralized solution helped automate all trade-related business processes: from processing delivery invoices to sales (temporary storage warehouse, export and import from the Declarant software, certification, cost calculation, functions of the distribution center, selling price management, gift certificates, CRM, online Front-Office). All sales are instantly captured in the registers of the trading system, thereby significantly improving the quality of store network management. The system functions effectively in the cloud from ActiveCloud.
Benefits of the solution:
- Uninterrupted 24/7 access to the service.
- Technical support with a client-oriented approach from ActiveCloud. Urgent start-up consultations and direct assistance from specialists.
- Convenience of the personal account and ActiveCloud resource management panel. Possibility to alter services and add memory capacity and performance in real time.
- Transparency of spending and allocation of funds for services, with a large number of various services.
